Last Wave is intended to achieve a rapid transition to sustainability in society. Sustainability is the use of environmental resources; both natural and built, in a way which does not threaten the capacity of that environment to support life.

All Incorporated communities are welcome to set up groups on this site and will recieve a percentage of advertising revenue generated through those pages. All advertisers and businesses on this site must operate on a triple bottom line and conduct regular independant sustainability audits. Prizes will be given annually to those groups which have achieved the most significant transitions to sustainability in their communities.

Content on this site will largely be driven by groups and individual members. It is ultimately not the producers of this site but all of us collectively to define what a sustainable society is and what sort of world we want to live in. This is not something we can afford to leave to our short sighted politicians.
